Phew! What a day!
The Flower Power Headband pattern has been published!
It's free pattern and can be downloaded as a pdf from Ravelry. You don't have to be a Ravelry member to view or download the pattern (although if you take a look around you might get hooked!)
The picture above is a link to the pattern and you'll find another link in my patterns & tutorials page.
Thank you all soooo much for your lovely comments about the headbands I've made for the girls. You are very very kind!! They have worn them non-stop too, so it is good news all round!
This is my first written down pattern and I'm feeling very nervous (and pretty jolly excited!) about the whole thing! If you find any boo-boos in the pattern, please drop me an email!!!!
A final note. I am very happy for this pattern to be used for commercial purposes by charities and cottage industries. I just ask that you acknowledge me as the designer - Truly Myrtle Designs, by Libby Jonson (I actually have a designer page now!)
What would you like me to design next!!! I'm hooked!!!

wow these are really pretty, i might have to make them up for the girls next door!!! thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Vicki! enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThose are fantastic! DD2 got a knitting kit the other day and when following the instructions I was shocked to discover I could, in fact, knit. I always thought I couldn't. Am eyeing up your headbands doubtfully!
ReplyDeleteHave a go Jacq - I'm happy to answer questions and hopefully, have walked you through it in the pattern, step by step!
DeleteCongrats! Those head bands look so cute, and perfect for little girls. No wonder your daughters love them!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I suspect there will be requests for more soon!
DeleteYou sew and crochet???? You're awesome!

Sew and Knit - not sure that my waving a crochet hook around yarn counts as crochet! ; )
