DIY knitting needles

DIY knitting needles

Make your own very lovely knitting needles. Quick & easy, they make a fantastic gift for someone little.

Especially when coupled with a pretty ball of chunky yarn.

DIY Knitting needles

Here's a photographic tutorial showing you how. No words (well, only a few...where necessary).

Let me know if you've got any questions.

  7. Ohh, what a fabulous idea! If you can find the right size beads, you could also make some with polymer clay. :)

  8. Very clever! I particularly love the ends that you picked out. Now, I don't spend a lot of time at the craft store or hardware store, but do you know how many thicknesses they come in? I'm wondering if it might be possible to DIY a whole set of needles.
