Truly Myrtle Podcast - Episode 41 : Handmade Outfit Inspiration

Welcome back to the Truly Myrtle Podcast!

SPOIL YOURSELF MAKE-ALONG

It's been fantastic to see you spoil yourselves in the Ravelry group - my spoiling has been going well too!

My Bentley cardigan is ready to split under the arms and my monkey socks are growing too - at the first heel!

I've also bought a new sewing pattern to finish my Chicken Lady outfit - Butterick 5756 is a full skirt on a yoke with pockets and I'm hoping to get it at least cut out this weekend.

A HUGE thank you to all the fantastic sponsors of our Spoil Yourself Make-along. This week's spot prizes were donated by Alex Collins, Happy Go Knitty & Clare Devine.

Tell us in the thread how you're spoiling yourself to be in the draw to win a spot prize next week.

This week I've especially enjoying seeing Nat knitting her cardigan, Avril casting on an Antipodes Shawl, Stacey buying new fancy knitting needles and Jen planning her trip to the Geeky Puffin Knit Palooza Retreat where Tara Swiger will also be teaching.

CLOTHESLINE DESIGNS MIND DONATIONS

Caroline has sold 75 copies of her lovely one skein shawl Yellow Roses. She's donating 75% of the profits raised to MIND in the UK. So far she's sold 75 patterns and is aiming to sell 100 by the end of November. I've bought mine - if you fancy knitting a pretty shawl and supporting a very worthy cause, head over and grab your pattern now.
